Key Responsibilities

  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials

  • Measure and load ingredients into mixing and grinding machines

  • Pack goods into bags, boxes, or containers

  • Check products and packaging for quality defects

  • Assist machine operators with food processing equipment

  • Maintain clean machines and work areas

  • Follow food safety and handling procedures

  • Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts; overtime may be required.

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty Indian dishes.

  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for menu items.

  • Prepare traditional Indian cuisine including curries, tandoori dishes, biryanis, and Indian breads.

  • Supervise kitchen staff and food preparation helpers.

  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

  • Ensure quality control and consistency of dishes.

  • Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety procedures.

  • Ensure kitchen operations comply with food safety and sanitation standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas.

Employment Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience preparing authentic Indian cuisine.

  • Experience with traditional Indian spices, sauces, and cooking techniques.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.

  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
